Partner Steve Richart will present on the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) as it pertains to educational support professionals in a breakout session at the Illinois Association of School Business Official’s (ASBO) 2021 SupportCon.
The event will be held on Friday, December 3 in-person at the Hyatt Regency in Schaumburg, Illinois.
Steve’s session, “FOIA 101,” will guide school support professionals through current issues relating to FOIA and how to respond to them, including considerations before releasing documents under FOIA.

Steve is an experienced school law attorney, concentrating his practice in the areas of board governance, FOIA, OMA, elections, school finance, and property taxes. He also represents school districts in judicial and administrative proceedings.
