Jennifer R. Donnelly
Jennifer Donnelly counsels school districts and municipalities in a variety of school law matters. She is a member of the National and Illinois Council of School Attorneys. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Donnelly served as a judicial law clerk to Justice Daniel L. Schmidt in the Third District Appellate Court and Justice Thomas M. Harris in the Fourth District Appellate Court. She also served as a staff attorney in the research department of the Fourth District Appellate Court.
Ms. Donnelly received her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Illinois-Springfield where she received the distinction of cum laude. She graduated magna cum laude from the Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2011. During law school, Ms. Donnelly served on the Journal of Legal Medicine where she is a published member; assisted students as a licensed student attorney for the Southern Illinois University Students’ Legal Assistance Office; and completed multiple externships with the Illinois Innocence Project.
