Valerie Robert’s practice covers a broad range of matters, with a primary focus on student and special education, property tax appeals, and real estate matters. Valerie counsels clients in navigating a variety of administrative proceedings, including special education administrative due process hearings and hearings before the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board, in addition to representing clients in ongoing litigation matters in both state and federal court. She also advises clients on complaints received pursuant to clients’ uniform grievance procedure and has experience in handling both student- and employee-related investigations.
Clients turn to Valerie not only for her straightforward approach to complex legal matters, but for her people-centric philosophy to better serve her clients’ needs.
Valerie is an avid runner and triathlete, often competing in multiple marathons a year. When she’s not training, she can be found reading the NYTimes Cooking section or trying out a new restaurant.
