As a partner in the firm, Pam Simaga’s practice covers a broad range of matters within the areas of litigation, students, property tax appeals, and investigations. Pam has extensive experience guiding her clients through all stages of ongoing and potential lawsuits and has successfully litigated matters before state and federal trial and appellate courts and the U.S. Supreme Court, as well as in administrative hearings before state and federal agencies including the Property Tax Appeal Board, the Illinois Human Rights Commission, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. In 2016, Pam successfully appealed a pro-bono case to the U.S. Supreme Court, Manuel v. City of Joliet.
Clients turn to Pam for her consistent, dependable legal advice, which is based on a foundation of proven experience with difficult disputes and her dedication to reach both an amicable and equitable solution for her clients.
Prior to practicing law, Pam was a Teach for America corps member who taught high school social studies to low-income students in the Rio Grande Valley. Her experience as an educational equity leader helps her to personally relate with educators and aid them in their mission-driven goals.
Away from the office, Pam enjoys spending time with her husband and young children, reading, and traveling.
