Partner Kerry Pipal concentrates her practice in the areas of contract drafting and negotiation, construction, and real estate matters. Kerry has extensive experience drafting and negotiating all types of contracts, including standard industry form agreements produced by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) involving architects, construction managers, and contractors. Kerry’s vast knowledge in all facets of the acquisition, leasing, and sale of school and park district property is invaluable to her clients. 

Kerry works with clients to find practical and creative solutions to complex school law issues, including the effective resolution of contracting, bidding, and construction matters. In addition, Kerry counsels clients on day-to-day matters related to board governance and finance. 

In her spare time Kerry enjoys visiting family, trying new restaurants in Chicago with her husband, and any time spent with their rescue dog.
